I work in a horse clinic where I do pre and post surgical care. That includes preparations for surgeries (shaving, cleaning and sanitising the skin, checking vital functions), assistance in getting the horse anaesthetised and aftercare of wounds etc.
I have been riding and working in horse stables all my life. I have worked full time (six days a week/8hrs a day) in a horse stable in Helsingborg, Sweden for about a year (can provide a reference) where I spend a lot ot time mocking, riding and working with children (it was a riding school). After that, I worked in a breeding stable for 3 months, taking care of foals and 2 and 3 year olds. I am now working part time in a equine hospital next to my studies (I am taking half a year off from my studies starting in January 18).
I learnt very classic english dressage but after not getting anywhere with that with a horse I had when I was 14, I started getting in touch with natural horsemanship and have been doing that ever since. Yet I still know classic english riding and have done that at my previous jobs.
