Duties of Current Occupation
Horse groom/Stable Caretaker:
- Feed horses, turn in/out of paddocks, tack up, clean stalls and stable areas daily.
- Assist with vet and farrier appointments.
- Perform general maintenance and repair tasks.
- Groom and bathe horses.
Equine Work Experience
Mucking out stalls, feeding, grooming and bathing, tacking up, bringing in and out of paddocks, riding, lunging, assisting people mounting, and guiding trail rides.
Currently working full-time on a horse ranch in Denmark. As young we had a lease horse and I went to riding school.
Been in a cultural exchange program at a Western ranch in the US.
