Qualifications
During my stay in Ireland, I got the BHS Qualifications until the complete Stage 2. I also got a fist aid course. Here in Spain I'm also taking the chance to get more qualified while I'm looking for a job. I'm about to get the gallops qualifications (I'm going for gallop 4 in December) and I'm also doing a ride leader course, so I can take people to go out on hacks in Spain.

Equine Work Experience
I’ve worked for three years and a half (October 2019 – December 2022) at Calliaghstown Equestrian Centre, in Ireland. I started working as a grommer in exchange of BHS training. As I was passing my exams, I was scalating until I got to teach kids and begginers. My daily duties were mucking out, filling nets, feeding, tacking up for lessons, turning in and out horses from fields and arenas, cleaning, riding and teaching. Sometimes I was also taking people out for a hack. In 2023, I've been in Spain where I have worked as a groomer on a competition yard at Murcia (south east of the mainland). At this yard, I was in charge of one or two groomers and my routine consisted at mucking out, feeding, turning in and out horses to the paddocks, as well as managing if we were in need of more food or bedding. Right now, I'm unemployed but I'm taking the chance to get the gallops, doing a ride leader course and riding two young horses as well. I'm a volunteer at Cavalli Foundation too.
Specialities
I’m pretty good doing team work and I’m able to manage times and work under preassure. I’m really quick at figuring out how jerarchy works on a herd so I can catch horses quickly. I love teaching kids, I don’t mind to take some more time to explain how to ride and I can adapt the language quite easily. I have a really good eye when I have to watch the riding position, so I can give a really good lunging lesson for improving it. I’m also quite fast at tacking up for lessons.
Type of Ride Work
In Ireland, I started riding school horses, but as I was gaining experience, I was starting to have some horses that had some schooling needs. I also started to take young horses with supervision. I've been doing flatwork, jumping, hacking out and also some cross country lessons.
Right now in Spain, I'm doing mostly flatwork and basics levels of dressage, but I'm also doing some jumping as well. I'm riding two youngsters on flatwork too and his owner might bring them to do a dressage test.
Competition Details
As a yard groomer, here in Spain, I was involved on stables assignation for competitions. I've barely have experience as a competition groom, but it's a chance I'm willing to take.
