8 GCSE c grade (4) or above
equine management LVL 3 sub diploma: Distinction*
As part of the equine management, I trained for both the BHS level1 as well as ride & road safety however I never took any of the exams for multiple reasons (weather, timing, collage, etc). These exams can be completed as and when is necessary as have done all the training to test standard.
I also done teaching assessment but also never completed for similar reasons associates with above.
Currently a waitress in the Costa del sol as a stop gap until the right opportunity comes up doing what I love with horses , and all previous work experience was horses , training , lessons and treks and general management and day to day care
I began riding and learning with a family friend and once I had enough experience riding I brought my first horse ( an ex-racer) with assistance in training we got competing 1m unaffiliated and eventually up to 1.10 in the SJ ring on my next horse as well as beginning to event. during this time I did 1 years worth of work experience ar a large equestrian center which I gained experience with lessons, clinics, and both affiliated and unaffiliated competition, as well as handling all types of horses and maintaining high standards in yard maintenance as well as working on a local popular trekking center on weekends. I Enrolled in level 3 equine management for college however due to lack of numbers the collage re-enlisted us onto a level 3 sub diploma instead of the extended diploma. after that year in college, I decided against re-enrolling in college and moved to Spain where I have worked with a different type of horse and in multiple different conditions and for different purposes.
I have worked with young and problem horses on and off for the last 6 years or so getting them to a point where they can be sold on to new homes to develop further or just enjoy a basic ridden career. I have also worked in schooling horses in showjumping and cross country with other people.
I now live in the south of Spain and looking for something around
For the most part, jumping was my main focus but never got to compete often so I spent a lot of time focusing on schooling and improving as well as having fun teaching my horses with natural horsemanship and even got 1 to be able to work completely tackles. People who saw this asked me to school their horses to fix issues the had or breaking in young horses. moving forward I would like to improve my own riding in dressage as it is an area I haven't had the opportunity to work on so far.
I, unfortunately, haven't had the chance to compete much but because of lots of correct schooling at home still managed to get both of the horses I had competing 1m or higher in showjumping and my last horse competing in eventing competing up to 90
