Home Based Care Level 1 First Aid

As a home based carer I would insure that my charges are taken care of to the best of my ability. This would include looking after their physical, mental and emotional well being.

I went to pony camps and rode alot as a child. Horses have been my favorite animal since I can remember we could just never afford to have one of our own. I also did some work experience at a Stud farm in Qatar and saw how they worked with their broodmares which I found very interesting. I then went on to study Equine Business at Hartpury College after I finished my GCSE's but didn't like the fact that I wasn't working hands on with horses so stopped after a year,which in hindsight was unfortunate. I have also worked on a horse farm for a few months helping with feeding, working and I have even lunged on occasion. Competent rider and would love to improve

Worked as a substitute teacher in a nursery school for a year and have done alot of babysitting in the past. Good people skills. Did alot of horse riding as a child and worked on a horse farm for awhile. First Aid certified.
