I have an American Passport but currently live in Cape Town, South Africa but I am happy to relocate for the ideal job!! Mainly ride dressage and show jumpers but happy to learn other disciplines, happy to teach experienced children, etc.
BHS Module 4 (Studying for Module 5)
Introduction to Vet Nursing and Health Care
Human First Aid Level 1
Full stable duties, Care of horses, health checks, grooming, feeding, night checks etc., Prep horses for shows; clipping, trimming, pulling manes, etc., Tack up horses for clients, Exercise horses including lungeing, riding on the flat, jumping, etc.
Equine Work Experience
Have worked with horses of all ages, breeds, heights, etc.
Ride difficult ponies and horses, ride from 14HH-17HH
Assisting vet, farrier, dentist
Full stable duties (including horse health, blankets, feeding, etc.)
Working with clientelle, cash flow, etc.
Exercising of client horses, problem horses, show prep, lungeing, long lining
Teaching of riding children as well as teenagers and young adults (for the past two years)
Have worked as a beach ride trail guide; hosting many different foreigners and different levels of riding (no experience at all to experienced) and with a range of horses
Get lessons from top German and British instructors
