Horse Handling Certification - Mooikrans Equus, South Africa.

I am tasked with taking sport horses on outrides to maintain their fitness levels - this includes walking, trotting, cantering and galloping, and crossing different types of terrain. I occasionally lunge and groom. I enjoy it all!

• I have had ranch training and can herd cattle and manage large groups of horses and riders. This was course done through Mooikrans Equus.
• I have worked as a tour guide, taking guests through the bush and across beaches. I was also tasked with riding the greener horses and working with them until they were suitable for guests to ride safely. This was done through Horse Beach Rides.
• I ride sport horses to maintain their physical fitness levels by taking them on outrides. I have been doing this part-time for 5 years for a few local yards in Summerveld, South Africa.

I am a gentle rider who puts the well-being of the horse first. I have experience in both English and Western riding. I am confident on outrides with large groups of people and horses, as I have worked as tour-guide before, and can manage stressful situations calmly with a level-head.

I have experience riding green and young horses, as I have a patient and gentle hand. I have focused mainly on flatwork, predominantly farm riding and outrides. I have experience in Boerperd and American Saddlebred showing.

I have competed in local shows on client's horses at Boerperd and American Saddlebred shows. I have also done show photography.
