Unfortunately I do not have any equine related courses, but am a qualified Foundation Phase Teacher. I would love to and am investigating doing an equine course with a range of levels starting at basic and leading all the way to instructing.

Currently am a Primary Teacher and have been for the past couple years. I also have experience working in a Hair Salon as an Assistant as well as an Admin Clerk at a small privately owned business.

Yes! I used to ride as a young girl, and then stopped for some time, but got back into riding (Dressage and Jumping) eight years ago and counting. I do all my own tacking, grooming, feeding, cleaning etc. when riding. I’ve done a variety of small shows within our riding school and received trophies and other awards for this. Besides this, I have also ridden on friends farms in the area quite often and have been exposed to a large range of different horses with all different personalities.

As I am part of a riding school, there are no set horses which we can choose to ride. We are given horses to ride and need to deal with any challenges that come with it. I have ridden green horses as well as older more experienced horses in both Dressage and Jumping. Whenever my instructor needs assistance with horses, I am the one to assist and do as she needs.

Unfortunately living in a small town, we do not have much opportunity for showing but we hold our own private show for all the riders in the school. I have taken part in these shows for a number of years and have won trophies and other awards for these.
