I have completed an IEB Matric in Equine Science, attended lectures with Helen Davies on the Equine skeletal system as well as having completed upto module 3 in EQUASA. I also hold an assistant trainers licence with the NHRA in South Africa.

Currently I work as an assistant trainer, so some of my tasks include feeding the horses, giving the grooms instructions, injecting, bandaging, wound care, keeping records such as vaccination dates, workouts and race dates.

My whole family is involved with horses and I am currently working as an assistant racehorse trainer for my dad (Tony Rivalland). I have competed as a pony rider in all disciplines but have since moved my focus to dressage as I am looking to further my career as a dressage rider. I have not had the opportunity of competing a going horse and have always produced my own as well as mainly riding thoroughbreds. My current mare I have produced from racing upto elementary dressage and we are preparing to go medium. I have broken in 23 thoroughbred yearlings and ride trackwork every morning. I have ridden in a few ammature flat races as well as having ridden the lead horse on big race days such as the Durban July. I also work for an animal health and wellness company Apex Animal Health which we specialise in equine supplements and care products which has given me more knowledge on equine care.

I have worked with thoroughbred yearlings as well as highly strung racehorses. I manage a small team of grooms. I am very dedicated and passionate about horses. I am quite good at detecting lamenesses especially from on top of the horse as some things can't always be seen from the ground. I am also experienced with content creation as well as social media marketing.

I have ridden all disciplines over the course of my life however I am solely focused on dressage or flatwork now. As well as riding flat racing horses.

I have competed my own horses as well as owners horses upto Elementary Dressage. I have ridden in a few ammature flat races as well
