I only have a NSS and completed one year studying at an university.
I am looking for a job preferably not in South Africa with main duties including Horse riding and training and also everything that comes with taking care of our equine companions.
I have been apart of the equine world for 13 years and have been lucky to own quite a few horses ranging from youngsters, mares and stallions. I have come in contact with very difficuilt horses especially problem horses. I have sucsesfully backed youngsters as well as older horses and have schooled a few horses with the help of a profesional trainer and have learned quite a few through that. I breed with horses as well and can confidently say that i have a reasonable amount of knowledge in the catagory. I have treated a variety of equine illnesses successfuly and can perform basic equine medical aid. I can successfuly Tack up and clean tack and equipment as well as box horses. Lunging of horses has never been a problem and i do enjoy riding. I am currently in England working for an Equestrian center with duties including general health care of horses by giving medications and treatments as described ,mucking out , workout/hacks for the horses etc
I have a very gentle way with horses and a very good understanding of how they think and react. I see horses as companions and as a part of the team and should be treated as such. I have very soft hands with horses and prefer to use body language. I am a quick learner with a 'can do' attitude and i work in a neat and organised manner. I am good with Chindren and professional with horses.
I have been competing in Western and English riding with Showjumping being by passion but dressage as a basic.
I have competed in small competitions only for the exposure to my horses. I hve competed in clear rounds as well. I have been interested to compete on a higher level but with school being a main priority i haven't had a chance. I have obtained a first place and third place in a few of these competitions with a maximum of 20 riders participating.
