My name is Sinead Murphy. I am 18 years old and living in Co. Kerry. I am currently in kildalton college doing the level 5 horsemanship and equitation course. I have my bhs stage 1 (ride and care) and my ride road safe completed. I have experience in many different yards doing all yard duties and exercising horses. I am looking for a summer job from June - September. I would be happy working as a stable hand or groom with the opportunity to ride.Willing to travel with accommodation.
my requirements: accomodation, cash, opportunity to ride on an experienced horse day by day (sometimes with teach) I can offer: -straight, zealous work -experienced in grooming, currently working in Denmark's Aarslevgaardens Rideforening. - worked with the main trainer of the Hungarian National Riding School -helped AM-Small tour showjumpers in competitions -knowledge of horse/stable terms in English riding safely in walk/trot/canter
I graduated in May 2021 from Stephens College with an Equestrian Studies degree. I’m just bursting with ideas to make your barn the best it can be!
I worked with quarter horse foals and young mares and stallions, mostly socialization, basic manipulation and first loungings.
I have experience with leading a team, not in equine enviroment, yet.
I also teached kids to ride.
I like to keep my workspace clean as much as I can.
I used to ride problem horses and young horses, under supervision for 1,5 year. I left because I started attending university. I prefer western saddles, but I don´t have difficulties or problems with other types. Few years back I attended western reining basics classes and also some jumping lecture with problematic horse. I would like to learn new skills. Prefferably in riding, but I am not afraid of hard work.
