Qualifications
Ongoing level 3 introductory qualification in Equine Massage Therapy and Rehabilitation at The Open College of Equine Studies with the aim to enrol in the Level 6 physiotherapy degree as of September 2026.

2019 - Summer -Albufeira Riding Centre: general yard groom 2021- present: personal equine management 2024-winter: worked as an exerciser at a sports horse yard where I rode 5 horses a day for one winter month(flatwork with the odd guided jumping)
Equine Work Experience
I’ve been riding and working with horses for over 9 years.
Personal equine management- I’ve been taking care of my own e horses at home since they moved in 2021, including my sports horse whom is currently rehabilitating from an injury.
I worked as a general yard groom during the summer of 2019, gaining a plethora of experience in horse-keeping. Skills acquired included: mucking out, tacking up/untacking, assisting trail rides, feeding, yard hygiene maintenance, haynet filling, horse grooming and observing vet visits and x-rays.
I’ve entertained and given several lessons to young children (below the age of 10) with horses.
Ive been awarded a national Sela 4 certificate from the FEP.
I’ve competed at International levels abroad, showjumping in 1.20 classes at CSI2**
I frequently exercise people’s sports horses whilst their away.
Specialities
Primarily helped to exercise showjumping horses and have groomed at a leisure yard where horses are in paddocks therefore I’m more familiar with paddock care than stable care. It’s important to mention, that I have also worked with young children quite a bit over the years.
Type of Ride Work
Showjumping sportshorses/ leisure horses both in flat, on hacks and over jumps.
Competition Details
2022-present in Spain & Portugal - My international showjumping experience commenced in 2022 and sprung since then. My horse and I have competed up to, and placed in, CSI2* 1.20’s.
2023-Sociedade hípica portuguesa- pre-junior national championships: With my showjumping Silesian horse, Kris, we conquered top 13 in the Portuguese National Championships.
At competition yards, I have helped as an exerciser for showjumping horses.
