Breaking In And Starting

Both rider and groomer/rider assistant completed the courses:

• Equine management technician;
• Equine groomer;
• Exams to compete at nacional level done.

Breaking in and start young horses

The rider:

• 4 years at Gestut Lewitz working as rider breaking in and starting young horses and preparing young stallions for stallion aprovall(recomendation letter available);
• +/- 6 years working in private stables as a rider riding all kind of dressage horses

The groomer/rider assistant:

• 3 years at Gestut Lewitz working as rider assistant breaking in and starting young horses and preparing young stallions for stallion aprovall(recomendation letter available);
• 1 and half year as stable manager in a 40 horses private stable, also assisting the riders breaking in and starting young horses.

We are a team of 2 people, one rider and one groomer, specifically specialized in breacking in and starting young horses. With this team you can count with great profissionalism, respect for the horses and honesty. We work on a freelance basis, this means that we´ll go to your stable under certain coditions that we´ll agree with you before realizing the job. We are based in Portugal but we work worldwide also under certain coditions that we´ll agree with you before realizing the job.

As individual and as team we´re use and capable to handle and work with all kind of horses, from the most problematic young green horse to the most calm old one. What we are searching for: is to provide you with a breaking in/starting young horses service. We are capable as written before of working with all kind of horses but we are mostly looking forward to work with horses for olympic sports: dressage, jumping and eventing(not ruling out the possibility of providing another type of service)

We as individual and as team have experience also in compete, support competitons and as show groom.
