Qualifications

I haven’t done any course, I’m finishing high school in about two months and I wanted to find straight away a horse related journey to follow.

Duties of Current Occupation

I ride and help my trainer with all her horses, including paddocks, clipping, being a show groom and just working her horses when she’s not possible to do so.

Equine Work Experience

The only professional work I could actually count in would be working with my trainers, two in show jumping and one in dressage. I’m a great help at shows and at home work I am trustworthy enough for them to leave me with all the horses.

Specialities

I have been working with horses for 11 years now, and I’m sure this is what I want to follow. I know how to deal with young horses, I’ve helped break some foals in and also have knowledge how to handle stallions. I’m super at organising and sorting out anything you need, amazing with schedules and I do everything when it has to be done. I’m also a great cleaner, I love to have everything in place and never leave the stables without making sure everything is done.

Type of Ride Work

As I don’t own a horse, I’ve ridden all kind of horses. From excited to lazy horses, to inexperienced and professional ones. I’ve broke some foals in and am very careful with the work I do. I do both jumping and flat work, I have done a but of dressage but wouldn’t qualify it as my discipline aswell, and also know how to hand work a horse like lounging and stretching.

Competition Details

I’ve been to competitions to both compete and work as a competition groom. I’m great at timing and have everything done on time and also good at organising a competition day. I know how to prepare a truck according to your liking and know how to load horses in and out. At competitions I would say I’m very positive and always do my best.
