Qualifications

Certificate - Horse Riding Instructor

Duties of Current Occupation

teaching adults and children, groundwork, lunging, riding (flat, basic low jumping, short and long trips), starting under saddle, handling wild horses, groom responsibilities, general stable work (feeding, taking out/in, mucking out)

Equine Work Experience

Started as the stable hand in exchange from riding at a dressage stable in Norway. Alone with 30 horses (stallions, foals), duties like mucking out, feeding, taking out/in, riding, lunging. In Germany started breaking horses and teaching students (in eng/german). Then worked in several places as a trainer and trips guide (Poland, Sardinia). Every summer I also used to work as an alone caretaker of a flock of 6-7 horses, providing lessons and trips in a summer resort. The journey was long (and it still continues), my attitiude is to be consequent, but also very sensitive when it comes to work with horses. My approach is classical riding based on respectful communication and some intuition-based methods. "The day you say you've learned everything about horses should be your last day with them". "The horse should want to do what you're asking it to do, not to be forced to do it"

Specialities

worked with young horses, basic levels of dressage riding, trail riding (also long trips), trips guide, solid basics trainer, some experience with stallions, and some experience with foals

Type of Ride Work

good lunging skills trail riding (also fresh horses) starting under saddle (solid groundwork + mounting)
