bringing in stock for work, lambing, docking, day to day chores. Horses- Riding 2 horses a day. Level 2 training on my own pony and retraining a horse for client (behavioural problems and learning manners), covering, bandaging, mucking out.
I have trained multiple horses for clients, with success. Currently retraining a horse with 10 years of behavioural issues. So I am a competent soft and kind rider. I have worked with young and old horses, ranging from Throughobred Yearlings (Colts and fillies) to mares in foal and with foal at foot. to show horses, and dressage horses, as well as farm hacks and bush ponies. Spent 6 weeks working in a livery yard, training 4 horses and caring for 20 horses for private clients in Kildare, Ireland before traveling Europe. I spent 2 seasons preparing and handling yearling throughobreds for the Karaka Horse sales with up to 40 yearlings in the draft at one time as well as general handling of mares and foals to mucking out, feeding spellers and presenting the colts and fillies for potential buyers as well as in the auction ring at the sales.
I have grown up around horses, and have many skills handling and riding. I have a real Animal sense so I am able to handle many situations that are presented to me in a professional manner. I work well in a team and solo. I understand the meaning of hard work and am not afraid of getting my hands dirty and falling off a horse.
