Duties of Current Occupation

I have recently graduated Secondary School in New Zealand, and am taking a Gap Year in Norwich before I move onto tertiary education. I have been working part-time after school and in weekends for the past few years at my local supermarket and cafe.

Equine Work Experience

Since age 5 I have been apart of the local riding school and pony club, where I learnt the ropes of riding and general care for my ponies. Over the past couple years I have focused on younger horses, and have had a few opportunities to compete and train horses for other families, which I have thoroughly enjoyed. I have had experience in most equestrian disciplines, in which all I am eager to learn more as I find this can be very rewarding. I especially love competing in which I compete in mostly showjumping.

Specialities

I have been riding and caring for horses since age 5, and animals have always been a passion for me. Through owning and leasing many of my own ponies - and caring and training horses for other families, I have learnt the resilience and skills needed to give quality care to horses and other animals.

Type of Ride Work

As I have had experience in mostly all disciplines of equestrian ridden work, I am open to any opportunities and would be keen to learn and develop new skills.

Competition Details

As I have mostly been riding young and green horses, I have not yet managed to compete at many of the larger scale competitions in New Zealand, however I am frequently attending the local ODE and showjumping days to get mileage on some of the younger horses. In 2021 I attended the Arab National Titles, which was an amazing experience where I was given the opportunity to compete on behalf of a family.
