After completing the Equine Studies course I received my level 2 and level 3 certificates.
Customer service and other small jobs to ensure a pleasant experience for shoppers.
I have been riding for 10 years (beginning when I was 7). Having non-horsey parents meant that I didn't have many opportunities. I often advertised my riding for free to people with horses needing exercise to help expand my skills and knowledge. In year 11 and 12 at high school I completed 2 years of Equine Studies which was run through the North Canterbury community college. This course covered many aspects of horse care and running a working stable.
I enjoy working with people and have a strong teamwork background due to previous jobs.
I take criticism well and use this feedback to improve my work.
I follow instructions well and am not afraid to ask questions to ensure the job is done correctly and to the expected standard.
I take direction well.
I am focusing on my showjumping but have a strong foundation in flatwork and dressage.
I have about 3 years of competition experience including show jumping, eventing, dressage and showing both as a rider and groom.
