I've worked at our local stables for half a year. Here I did all kinds of things from feeding the horses to mucking out the stables. But also keep track of the medication. Giving them exercise when necessay, making sure they get from the stables to fields and back. The stables is a 5 star FNRS stables, so work pace was high, with a very high standard. Since the horses well-being was no1 on our priority list the days could be unpredictable. This didn't bother me because the horses being healthy was also my priority.

I have worked with Spanish stallions and am used to young horses. Used to working outside in all seasons.

Working experience since I was 15 years old, gained people skills, learned how to plan a day full of chores and also some indirect managing skills.

I am most experienced in dressage, but do really enjoy jumping. Trekking through the woods or fields is my favorite kind of relaxation. Also familiar with the basics of groundwork, in different styles of "natural" horsemanship. Learned in styles created by Chris Irwin, Wendy Bleekemolen and Marion Alblas, also ridden these styles. During my approx. 14 years of horse riding I've ridden young horses and "problem" horses. I know the basics to the western riding style.

Last competion I rode was when I was about 12 or 13 years old. Because I've never owned my own horse, I didn't like competing with a different horse every time. It also didn't feel like a fair competition at our local stables.
