I am confident around horses and have been developing essential skills through volunteering at a livery yard and with a rescue. Currently studying for a bachelors in Equine Sports and Business in the Netherlands. Have a basic horse care sertificate from Florida University. I have a BE drivers license, so I can pull a horse trailer.
I am a passionate student looking to gain as much experience in riding as I can.
I am currently at the B, L level of showjumping, however I am eager to learn more and I wish to train and ride many different horses to improve my skill. Currently I do not have my own horse, however I am actively searching and will buy one in the near future to be able to move up the levels. Did a 10 week internship at Kevin Olsmeijers place in 2019. Duties were all round stable work as well as riding.
I am currently studying as a 3rd year student in Equine Sports and Business, where we study about the biomechanics, breeding, nutrition, sales and many other aspects of horses. Due to COVID-19 I do not have to be present at the school for most of the lectures, meaning I can take a full time job. In two years I will have a bachelor in this field. I have worked in a breeding facility in Latvia for multiple summers and part time in the winter, as well as started some horses here in the Netherlands
Flatwork, hacking, showjumping, starting horses, groundwork, etc.
Haven't competed much in the last years do to the study and lack of own horse, however, got seventh place out of approximately 100 contestants in the summer of 2020 at the 95cm class with my friends horse in Peelbergen, the Netherlands.
