Approx 34 hours a week to include Saturdays. Reasonably flexible on days. Yard hours are 7.30-12.30 and 1-5 pm so hours can be made up of a mixture of both or full days. Come and join our friendly team at Lower Farm General Yard routine: feeding/haying/watering. Mucking out/ bedding down/sweeping. Rugging up/ turning out/ bringing in. Grooming/ bathing/tack cleaning. Other associated jobs ie building sj’s/ stable painting/hand walking. Riding is not required

Horse Trainers prepare horses for shows and races. Typical duties of a Horse Trainer are getting animals used to saddles, teaching commands, correcting bad habits and behavioral issues, and providing companionship. Based on our collection of resume samples, essential qualifications include love of animals, training skills, patience, riding expertise, and experience with taking care of horses. There are no formal requirements for this job; nevertheless, the most successful resumes make display of equine studies training.

Highly skilled Horse Trainer extensive experience riding horses of all breeds and is strongly knowledgeable of horse behaviour and training horses and riders. Has a background in rodeo horse riding, jumping and breaking horses. Has an Associate’s Degree in Equine Management and is certified as a horse trainer through the United States Hunter Jumper Association.
