I’ve completed a sports psychology course
I ride the horses of my trainers clients that are not able to go and ride them on a daily basis. I will also sometimes do some administrative work for him.
I started to work for my trainer during my last year of high school (present), during the pandemic I would go ride with him and another family called the Pasquel’s contacted me to see if I could go ride some of their horses part time, this lasted for (7 months).
I am very organized which helps with having and organized barn as well as helping the grooms to be more organized with the lesson horses. I have had some experience with younger horses (4 years old and up), as well as stallions, but I mostly handle geldings and mares on a daily basis
I’ve mostly ridden every type of horse, but I usually focus on “fixing” and getting horses in shape so that their owners have and easier time with them. My main expertise is in flat work and jumping only specific horses like my own or one which a client wishes me to jump.
My trainer is an active competitor so all of his horses and those of his clients are always competition ready. I have had some experience in organizing a competition since my trainer started his own company dedicated to this. Also when working with the Pasquel’s I got some insight into how the Longines Global Champions Tour ir organized in Mexico
