Qualifications
I have a diploma regarding working in a horse base carrier. For that of course i had gone to carrier focused collage for two years to get.
Duties of Current Occupation
I worked in stables for half a year. In there i took the role of a groom - raging from mucking their resting places, preparing them for riding, ect. ect.
Equine Work Experience
I had ridden horses for two and a half years, currently taking a break but i am planning on returning to such fun activity. As a groom, i was around horses for most of my time studying such carrier. I had mainly focus on just riding them (i.e walk, trot, canter, and gallop) so when it comes to jumping or dressage styles - well it is something i am lacking on, however, more than not, i am really motivated to improve my skills on. I had never yet worked with foals and broodmares. I had never gotten the possibility to, so its something i am very lacking on, despite that, just like mentioned before, is something i am more than willing to learn and get my hands on. Noted, i also know how to work with a horse when it comes to free jumping.
Specialities
I worked with more younger horses (2-4y), as well as with older ones. I took part in the teams, even though i never led one, i would be heavily involved in participating team focused events. I simply love working in teams, having a strong bond and being able to lend a hand when needed.
Type of Ride Work
Like i mentioned before. My main skills when it comes to riding a horse is the most basic ones. (walk, trot, canter, and gallop) And yes, it includes flatwork. I had jumped through obstacles before, but it is nothing serous (the bar being no less than 10cms off the ground).
Competition Details
When your collage has it's own stables with it's own horses, you tend to host competition events. Thanks to that, i got to work both as a competition groom (several times) and as a compete (given, less so than being someone's groom). I can confidently say, i do know how everything is operated.
