Bio
Good morning, i’m Angelica and I live in north italy. I did showjumping, contests here in Italy for long time (even if I prefer dressage!) Now I’m stopped for years. I love horses and I’dlove whatever work I can do with them!Duties of Current Occupation
When I stopped with showjumping, I didnt work anymore with anything related to horses (unfortunately)
Equine Work Experience
Dont have a lot of experience. I simply prepared horses for contests (even others than mine), clean the boxes, tidy stables and garnments (saddles and so on)
Specialities
I had 4 horses: one pony, one young horse (7yo), one “trained”, and another who was the passage from ponies to horses
Type of Ride Work
I’ve ridden all tipe of horses, mostly “castroni” (in English I think “gelding”? I’m sorry for this), stalloni (stallions? Honestly I’m translating from Italian these technical terms), young horses, less mares. Even if I did showjumping, I did my best in training exercise with focus on the movements of the horse (a sort of base preparation for dressage, here we call it “lavoro in piano”) and I enjoyed a lot the first approaches with young ones!
Competition Details
I have competed in a lot of competitions! I lived between Milan and Venice so we had many spaces and nearly every weekend we get out. I had a groom but obviously i helped him, especially when there was more than one horse to prepare and poor him he was alone! When my class was over, sometimes I warmed up other horses that needed to be ready soon.
