Worked as a stable hand doing all kinds of yard work, sucking out, sweeping, cleaning and filling water buckets, filling haynets, feed prep, turning out and bringing in. Tought riding lessons and taken people out on trail rides.

I've never owned my own horse, but have been hands on with them for more than ten years, helping out at the stable where I ride, and eventually working as a riding instructor and stable hand. Not having my own horse has given me the opportunity to work with many different horses, adapting to each of their individual needs and responses. Working with foals and young horses has taught me patience, although it can be very challenging at times, but it is extremely rewarding.

I've been riding for about 13 years, mainly specialising in western riding, although I started out riding english. Going on trail rides is my favourite thing to do with horses. In the past few years I have taken a more natural approach to horse riding, and have started learning about horsemanship and focalising on flatwork and rehabilitation. I've worked with many horse breeds, mainly quarter horses, paint horses and haflingers, but also ponies and some thoroughbreds.

I have taken part in competitions, mainly barrel racing, pole bending and gymkhana, and ahave lso helped organise competition events (when the stable where I worked at was hosting). I find it to be a very exciting environment, and love being around other horse lovers.
