I’m a hard worker, but most of all, I’m truly ambitious. I’m just looking for a chance, for someone that can give me an opportunity, so that maybe i can become a really good rider one day, and compete at high levels.
Qualifications
  1. Secondo Grado. Second level qualification for professional riders in show jumping (competition higher than 1.35 mt) awarded by FISE (Italian Equestrian Sports Federation)
  2. Operatore Tecnico Equestre di Base (OTEB) awarded by FISE Toscana (Italian Equestrian Sports Federation, Branch of Tuscany). This qualification allows me to teach and train children and adult riders at the stables where I am employed.
Duties of Current Occupation

I get to ride every morning 5 to 7 horses. I ride both the club’s clients’ horses and the instructor’s GP horses too, plus the training of four young horses. I have Australian citizenship and passport. Contact rider William Furlini, +39 339 3749035

Equine Work Experience

I started riding horses at the age of 6, in 2001.In 2012 I came second at the Summer Junior Regional Championships for riders with the Italian Qualification of Primo Grado (First level professional riders in show jumping) and won the Winter Regional Championship. In 2013 i won the selection for the Tuscan Junior team at Piazza di Siena, for the Regional Cup.A four days competition spanned over two weeks at 1.30 m height.I was one of the only two riders who went clear in all four rounds. After Piazza di Siena I could only afford to go out show jumping once a month, sometimes not even that, but I kept on training hard and improving, jumping 1.35 mt rounds, and doing very well, with a lot of clear rounds and a maximum of 4 penalties per round and between the end of 2013 and the beginning of 2014 I qualified for the Italian Second Level qualification (Secondo Grado).Since then I went out once a month, competing at 1.35/1.40 m.

Specialities

Horse jumping and flat working are the main things that i've been doing since i started horse riding. I know how to start/break horses into work.

I have been working in other places since i finished school, so that i could afford to maintein my own horse. Mc donald at first, for two years, and restaurants as a waiter after it. So i know how to work alone, as in a team. I'm a hard working tipe, and i've always put all of me, at a hundred per cent, into horses.

Type of Ride Work

In October of 2015 I started working with racing horses as a groom and as a horse trainer. I worked for a small stable, but I still got to work with qualified personnel. During those 5 months I got to break into work 3 young racing horses which were nearly 2 years old. In 2016 i started working at the Terrebrune Equestrian Centre in Pisa as a second rider. Since then I’ve been riding every morning 5 to 7 horses. I ride both the club’s clients’ horses and the instructor’s horses too.

Competition Details

2012 second place at Summer Junior Regional Championships for riders with the Italian Qualification of Primo Grado (First level professional riders in show jumping), and first place In in the Winter Regional Championship, both at 1.30/1.35 meters high. In 2013 I made first place at the selection for the team for the regional cup in piazza di siena, competing at 1.30 meters high.Since then i've reaced to compete at 1.40 meters high.
