Duties of Current Occupation
Trainer - Solving behavior issues, starting horses, rehabilitations, exercises and clicker training (is asked to) Barn manager - dealing with suppliers such as the vet, farrier and food delivery, grooming and overall maintenance.
Equine Work Experience
- Riding instructor - 10 years in 3 different riding school, students between 12 to 65 y\o
- Therapeutic riding instructor - 3 years in two riding schools, worked with mental and physicals difficulties with both children and adults.
- Trainer - 3 years, private trainer working with all horses, some meant for riding, some for breeding, and others had to go through rehabilitation due to old age, injuries or disease such as shivers.
- Barn manager - 5 years, I was responsible on all aspects of the barn from equipment, to suppliers, vet checks, farriers appointments, overall maintenance, trainings, handling the other instructors and taking care of the horses welfare.
- Private rider - 10 years, keeping the horses in shape, handling behavioral issues and preparing for trail riding.
Specialities
I am certified trainer using clicker and positive reinforcement and have used the method in rehabilitations and multiply behavioral issues training. I have experience with foals, stallions and studs, as well as senior horses. My work standard is high, and have managed a team before.
My working method with horses is gentle and patient, I rarely use pressure and release.
Type of Ride Work
I have ridden working studs, problem horses and young horses. I am experienced in flat work, trail riding and basic show jumping.
My riding style, if given the choice, is force free - I have ridden stallions outdoors with no tack beside a neck ring.
