Mucking out, feeding, grooming, riding on flat and jump, maintaining horse welfare

I am attending/ finishing my first year at Grennan Equine College Level 5, I have completed my ride safe silver award, stage 1, stage 2 and QQI Level 5. I will be attending again next year for my stage 3 and QQI Level 6.

I have over 8 years of experience working with horses and duties including tacking/ untacking horses, grooming and caring for horses, mucking out, feeding horses, handling mares and foals, I have also handled young horses/ breakers. I have good experience and knowledge with riding on the flat and jump

My main priority is the welfare of each horse I work with! I always consider what is best for the horses in every situation. I can work to a high standard either alone or with a team, I am quick and efficient while working in a yard. I have handled mares and foals, young/breakers, riding school ponies, I have also handled stallions a small bit. I am more than happy to learn and progress on my equine skills in any aspect

I have worked with and trained a variety of horses in my time working with equines. I have experience in young/ green horses, I have backed horses, I have worked with horses that had confidence problems, napping and nervous horses. I have great knowledge on riding on the flat and jump, I have gained quite a good bit of knowledge from my first year of Grennan Equine College and I will be attending for Level 6 QQI and Stage 3
