Duties of Current Occupation
Currently working full time as a Real Time Analyst and also working 2 days in a stables carrying out yard activities such as mucking out, feeding, tacking along with taking out riders hacking around trails, taking in and out liveries etc.
Equine Work Experience
I have been riding since I was 5/6 and was jumping over 1.5m until I was 17. I gave up riding until I was 24 and I’m now currently back jumping at 1.2m but I am happy to jump higher. I’m working full time in an office and every minute I get free I’m helping out at my riding stables by taking out non riders and experienced riders on treks and helping out with the lessons (setting up jumps/poles and getting kids sorted with horses). I have no professional qualifications.
Specialities
Experience riding green, young and difficult horses. I’m a keen jumper and particularly excel in cross country courses. The only riding discipline I’m not familiar with is dressage. I hold a degree in special needs assistance and children with additional needs and I am very keen to begin my education to work towards my BHS education. I ideally would love to move towards teaching lessons.
Type of Ride Work
Ridden green, young and difficult horses. I am well able to sit a buck without issue. I am keen on jumping x country and flat work. I have never been hunting before as I previously never had my own horse (currently saving for my own horse) and the opportunity to take a school pony in previous stables wasn’t an option. There is a gallop with racehorses in my current stable and I have taken out school ponies and horses to race along gallop.
Competition Details
I have no experience at any competitions apart from yard competitions which wouldn’t have any impact on anything
