Assisting in the management of over 40 horses: Monitoring health and well being of the horses, general yard duties (feeding, mucking out, exercising horses), training clients of all levels on the flat, jumping, and cross country.
Yard Supervisor at Castle Leslie Equestrian Centre, Monaghan: Assists in the management of over 40 horses. Trains clients of all levels - flat, jumping, and cross country. Represents the yard in meetings with prospective clients and on work placements. Kennedy Equine Centre, Kerry (Sept, 2014) On a2 week work placement, assisted in the care of over 30 horses, from unbroken 2 year olds to competition horses. General yard duties, exercised horses, travelled to and grromed at shows.
From learning to ride at the age of 12 I have been consistently involved with horses. I have owned a number of horses that up until the year of 2013 I regularly competed on, predominantly in Riding Club and local competitions.

Approx. 5 years ago I used to compete in Riding Club and local competitions with my own horses up to Intermediate level.
Currently my riding consists of exercising riding school and livery horses and riding out as lead rider on trail rides and x-country rides.
I take part in showjumping and dressage clinics run at the riding school on a regular basis.
Prior to my current work position I competed up to Intermediate level in riding club competitions on own horses - 90cm-1m jumping, prelim dressage.
