I have been riding the past 10 years and have been a qualified working coach for the last 3 years. To date I have completed the following B.H.S Exams; -Ride Safe. -Stage One in Complete Horsemanship. (Care&Ride) -Stage Two in Complete Horsemanship.(Care(lunge),Ride(flat&jump) and Stage Two Teach. (Old P.T.T) -Stage Three in Complete Horsemanship.(Care(lunge), ride (dressage, showjumping and cross-country) and Stage Three Teach.)
After completing my QQI Level 5 in horsemanship I progressed onto working Full time in an Equestrian Retail Shop Equipet and working part time instructing at The Railings Riding school. Since October 2021 Instructing as been my full time job. From June 2022 I have covered Assistant Yard Manager in Cherry Orchard Equine Centre as Yard Supervisor. Being in charge of daily equine welfare, organising vet/farrier etc, tack and hat checks, safety procedures, equine allocations and lesson bookings.
Can work as an individual or within a team setting. Horse welfare is priority. Covered Assistant Yard Manager for 7 months maternity, therefore have experience leading a team and an understanding of the work that goes on in the background that allows us to provide facilities to the best standard possible. Quick at mucking out and keeps the yard tidy to a high standard.
Obtained up to my B.H.S Stage 3 ride (Dressage, showjumping and cross-country). I am currently schooling over a course of up to 1m. I am currently schooling my own young horse which was only recently broken when bought.
Would like the opportunity to be able to compete.
