I’ve done everything from breaking untouched 10 year old horses for pleasure to training winners of state medal finals and ribbon winners at USEF pony finals and Indoors. Currently located in the research triangle (Raleigh) of North Carolina but willing to relocate for the right fit.
Eager rider and former horse owner looking for work in the Southeast Florida area/ West Palm. I have been around horses my entire childhood and am looking to gain experience in the equine industry now that I am older. I am a quick learner, easily able to adapt, and have a natural passion for horses.
I am looking for home groom position. Closer to Hamburg area, the better. I can clip, plait, bandage, treat wounds etc. Willing to go shows too. I am a teamplayer, but can work solo too. Horses health is my main priority. I am looking for long time solution. Can lounge and i would be interested to get to ride some flatwork/hacking (not necessary, just wanting i could further my skills) I would need a live in-position and would be greatful if i can take my two wellbaved cats with me :)
I am a keen aspiring groom who has been working with horses on a voluntary basis, and am now looking for a full or part-time opportunity to progress my career and gain more experience. I am confident around horses and have been developing essential skills through volunteering at a livery yard and with a rescue. Ideally, I would be looking for a role in the Basingstoke area while I'm learning to drive, but happy to consider a live-in position in the wider Hampshire region or further afield.
My name is Daisie, I am 18 years old and have owned horses for the past 5 years. I have previously worked on an international showjumping yard and am keen to pursue my next job. I am open to any discipline and able to adapt to every yards standards and needs.
Rode as a child/teenager at a stable that allowed us to "volunteer", then got a weanling. Kept him at a small stable where I cared for the other horses as well (their owner had no horse experience). When I moved I helped a friend out on my day off as I greatly missed being around and caring for horses (I was working retail and he took care of field boarded horses).
Managed a small private stable-broodmare, foals/yearlings Basic ground training and roundpenning on foals/yearlings using natural horsemanship techniques Set deworming/vet/farrier schedules and held/performed basic treatments Determined best feed/hay for various stages of development, sourced hay Set fly control regime using "fly predators", traps & spray Fed, mucked, scrubbed troughs and buckets spotlessly clean, groomed, tacked, blanketed
I'm better suited to ground work than ride work. I did hunter/jumper as a child, but once my boy was saddle broke I just hacked around on him (I did his ground work, and had a trainer do his first ride-he was wonderful for her though). I can walk, trot, canter, gallop, jump a bit and do some basic training like yielding the hindquarters.
I won quite a few ribbons in the winter indoor series at Equilibrium Horse Center, including the series-end Reserve Champion for my class.
