*I have bred a number of Connemara foals at home and got them used to handling, being led and trailer loading. *One summer, I worked at a trekking centre - riding the Horses to get them going before the centre opened, General duties of the yard and accompanying treks.
*I ride and practice the Parelli programme on my two ponies at home at the weekends. *I have had lots of Horse riding lessons since I was small. *I learned a lot about conformation and evaluating movement on the Young Breeders Programme for performance Horses. *In 2020, I did a day course in barefoot trimming. *Since 2020, I have attended a number of clinics with Chris and Sarah Brady (Parelli Instructors) to learn more about the Parelli programme.
*I have experience with flatwork, I have completed numerous showjumping courses and some gridwork exercises. I have also ridden multiple times on cross country courses jumping a variety of fences from logs,banks,steps etc.
*I have attended a small number of competitions from General showing classes to showjumping. *In 2017, I was selected to be on the Young Breeders team to represent Ireland in the World Championships held in Canada. This entails judging conformation, evaluating movement and presenting horses for showing/inspections. We came seventh overall.
