I have BHS training up to level two although I have not gotten the oppertunity to sit exams.

I am currently studying Equine Science in University of Limerick. I have completed my first year of the course and will continue my studies into second year in September.

Previous experience working in a riding school/livery yard completing jobs such as:

• Feeding/Mucking out/Grooming to a basic level/Tacking up/Turning out/Catching/Bandaging/Assisting teaching/Arena set-up/Assisting farriers and vets/Teaching kid

I have worked in a riding school/livery yard since a young age. I have experience running a yard/completing all yard duties, maintaining it to a high standard.

I can work as part of a team and on my own accord. I am a fast learner eager to broaden my knowledge to learn and gain experience in other parts of the equine industy.

I can ride to an intermediate level although I have not been riding recently.

I have riden younger horses although I have not got first hand experience breaking any horses.

I have assisted in runnning small in-house holiday shows at the riding school i have worked at over the last six years.

Although I do not have competition experience I have a keen intrest in showjumping and would love the opertunity to learn more about the enviorment and gain experience working in a yard specifing in the discipline.
