I haven't completed any equine related courses but I am interested to learn and have been looking into courses available from Teagasc and others related to equine health and reproduction, equine first aid etc.

I am currently working in an administration setting in a Post Office. Prior to that I was working as a qualified hairdresser. My current role involves customer service, attention to detail, accurate work and adherence to security procedures.

I was a very keen rider as a young person and owned two horses of my own at one point. During that time I performed all duties of caring for them myself, mucking out, grooming, daily exercise and feeding, assisting with farrier and vet visits etc.

I haven't had a career in the equine industry previously, however I do have some experience with horses and it is my dream to start a career in the equine world.

I have just gotten back into riding after a long break, so recently I have done some riding at an equestrian center and mainly flatwork.
