As an aspiring veterinarian I can safely say that my upbringing surrounded by horses is what inspired me to pursue this career! The love began when I was four years of age and began lessons in my local riding school, from there my passion only grew. I purchased my first horse at thirteen and also began shadowing my local equine vet. As I grew older I began assisting in gentling racehorses and successfully broke my first horse at the age of seventeen. Although I have had a short break from my equine obsessed life to pursue veterinary, I am eager to return to the stables and help in any way that I can! I have been told I possess a natural talent for horsemanship and I wish to explore this more.
