Qualifications
Veterinary Nursing BSc (Hons) No equine related qualifications at the moment but interested in pursuing BHS exams in the future.

Duties of Current Occupation
All aspects of daily horse care and leading guests on trail rides, both beginners and experienced riders. Short trips and long distance week-long riding holidays riding from point to point across the countryside.

I love new challenges and opportunities to learn new skills and I am passionate about horses and riding in addition to an interest in making sure customers have a fantastic and safe experience.
Experience
Working as a guide with all levels of riders in a national park. Beach riding. Grooming. Tacking up. General stable maintenance. Equine first aid.
Ensuring safety of guests at all stages of the ride from introducing them to the horse, while riding and when dismounting.
Sole charge both in the stable and on rides and taking care of approx 50 horses each day as part of a team to groom, prepare for rides, mucking out and organising self to prioritise tasks when in sole charge.
I also worked as a groom in a private stable in Germany of approx. 40 horses, taking care of a variety of horses including Spanish horses, Arabs and coldbloods including stallions to a very high standard. Feeding, grooming, health and medical treatments and riding/exercising.
Specialities
I consider myself a team player and I'm always happy to lend a hand wherever necessary to ensure the smooth running of the day.
Currently living back in Ireland but very interested in returning to work in Germany/Austria/Switzerland/Sweden/Norway
I would be interested in a home groom position or working in an equestrian tourism stable as a trail guide.
Type of Ride Work
I am comfortable with riding both experienced trekking horses and horses which are new to trekking and enjoy seeing them become more confident on their route as they get out more.
I have some experience of flatwork in the arena and would like to further improve this area of riding as it is my main interest in pursuing great flatwork riding and also in hand work from the ground.
