I have completed no equine courses as of now but am hoping to go on and do some in the future. As of now I’ve completed my junior certificate over a year ago.

Hairdressing~ applying colors, shampooing stock orders etc. Yard hand~ mucking out, grooming, feed, trek guide and helping out with coaching etc.

I have worked in a riding school, trekking centre and small showjumping yard. I have also worked on a stud/ pre training livery yard in Kildare belong to my cousins for a few months in the summer and the odd week here and there when they need help. I worked in a riding school for 2 years, the trekking centre I have grew up in since the age of 9 and worked my way up to guiding the treks. The showjumping yard I worked in for a year and a half while also working there every winter looking after the horses.

I have worked in a few yards close to home working with everything from pony’s to top class sport horses. I take pride in turning every horse out the highest standard. I’ve learned loads over the years and am always willing to learn more in a short space of time. I’m extremely friendly and professional. I love a clean yard so will always clean up even when not asked to do so. Ive mucked out so many stables that I’ve gotten fairly quick at it and understand each yard has different preferences.

I’ve ridden all sorts from quiet school/trekking pony’s to young green sports horses. Although I’ve ridden since a child having taken a serious fall last December that put me out of riding for months I’ve lost a lot of confidence when riding so would prefer a ground job.

I’ve competed in many local showjumping shows, in hand shows and a small few dressage shows. I’ve gone to plenty of shows with my coach and helped her prepare for the show while also helping the younger girls groom their pony’s.
