Qualifications
I have completed my leaving cert exams and I am currently finishing my second year of a three year course studying a Bachelor of Arts degree in University of Galway.
Equine Work Experience
I went to England for three months, Russ and Lara Underwood, working with showjumpers and competed at a couple of shows. They are a family run yard that also have liveries. They have competed at the top level.
Specialities
While in the UK I worked with stallions that competed at the top level showjumping I worked with foals handling, leading and picking up their front legs. I take pride in having a tidy yard and so I always ensure it is kept clean. I like stables to be clean with nice beds so I tend to work quickly to get the jobs done
Type of Ride Work
I have been riding horses and ponies since I was 3 years old I have ridden a range of horses, from youngsters to school masters My Father is the huntsman of the Galway Blazers, I worked on one of the masters yards riding and bringing on mainly youngsters I have a good knowledge in flatwork. At home we have a selection of youngsters that we bring on throughout the year. I have hunted all my life and have a passion for showjumping. I'd like to get the opportunity to learn how to showjumpW
