Riding clubs, pony camp. flat work, lunging, care of the horses, treking and such.
i have in the past worked for two previous stables. the first was when i was younger alsmost as a helping hand around the barns.
the second was work experience during school where I helped prepare the horses for shows, hunts, lessons and even preparing the white carraige horses for weddings. I was also given the responsibility to exercise the horses and keep them happy aswell as keeping the stables spotless as well as the tack. I exercised the horses through lunging, flatwork, small jumps and treks. during my time there I was also required to help with dissabled riders (Adults and children) and worked alongside the therapy horses. i helped run pony camps with the younger children and had great fun with everyone i worked with while getting all the jobs that needed to be done, completed, and a little more.
Groom, Day to day care of the horses, yard duties, mucking out, feeding etc. exercising, treking, flat work, lunging etc. competition prep, plaiting, clipping etc. pony camps, working with children, working with people with disabilities etc.
flat work mainly, treking etc. I'm not confident enough rider to push myself to the jumping side of things as I suffered a bad fall during cross country once. However, saying that I have very good experience with horses away from the jumps.
