In the danish army i got taught so many things: I had stable duty and riding education in dressage, show training and escort training. This has among other things led me to escorting Her Royal Highness, Queen Margrethe. It’s been an incredible educational experience, where I’ve been taught by not only our instructors but also saddle makers, the farriers and vets.
Oh, and i have truck License!
I've been around horses most of my life but more intense the last five years where I have been riding and looking after my own horse. I prefer trail rides and jumping therefore i enjoy riding the danish kind of fox hunting (like a cross country course) - and have ridden the annual Hubertus hunt four times.
From August 2016-2017 i joined The Danish Horse Squadron, where i was taught so many things i didn't already know about horses. With 75 horses, there were lots of things to learn about how to handle different kinds horses both in the everyday work and in riding. We did all the stablework and also the exercise of the horses. We had dressagetraining daily, and i was also lucky enough to be choosen for the show-team where we jumped with sabres and hit stuff etc. Great fun.
Been a year in the danish army, at the mounted horse section. There I've been taught many things in a very specific way, that you would only find in the military. I've been grooming horses to the queen of Denmarks standard, and have ridden beside her carriage at parades around Denmark.
I've never really been into competitions, but the last year has definitely changed that!
I've focused on riding the danish kind of fox hunting, which i've been doing for five seasons now including four Hubertus hunts.
