Looking for someone to work with our busy rescue/ rehabilitation/ education center outside of Denver CO. You will work 20 hour a week for 6 months in exchange FREE certification classes at the Rocky Mountain School of Animal Acupressure and Massage. An accredited department of education school. Duties will include basics horse care, equine rehabilitation protocols, in hand exercises, leg wrapping, hydro-therapy, wound care, administrative and other duties.
Freelance Groom/Farm Help needed to assist with horses, yard and general assistance. If you add us onto your client list the work is regular and long term. We’re getting our bearings in this new home and need extra hands permanently. An ecological farm start up, natural horsemanship haven, natural health and shamanic therapy practice for people and animals, with teaching and classes.
Team Optimum Horses is looking for an experienced person for 3-4 dressage horses able to start as soon as possible.
Approx 34 hours a week to include Saturdays. Reasonably flexible on days. Yard hours are 7.30-12.30 and 1-5 pm so hours can be made up of a mixture of both or full days. Come and join our friendly team General Yard routine: feeding/haying/watering. Mucking out/ bedding down/sweeping. Rugging up/ turning out/ bringing in. Grooming/ bathing/tack cleaning. Other associated jobs ie building sj’s/ stable painting/hand walking. Riding is not required
We have 31 ARABIANS WITH 6 national Champions. Need experienced trainer in Hunter, Western and Hunter. We are located in the Piney Woods of East Texas. We provide a custom brick home truck, salary and commission on sales
Looking for a groom to join our team at a private dressage yard in Berkshire. The role includes all normal yard duties. And the candidate should be competent with handling fit competition horses and be able to turnout to a high standard. Grooming at local and high level competitions also a possibility. Ability to lunge a bonus and some riding a possibility for the right candidate. Excellent facilities to work with. Live-in or live-out position, shared accommodation in excellent condition.

I have been riding horses since I was 7. I started in a pony club riding all the different school ponies. When I turned 13 I got my first horse I had him on loan, he was a 7 year old but was very green, I had him 3 years and by the time I moved off him he was jumping 1m/1.10. A woman in the yard I was in asked me to ride her mare for her, I now have her jumping comfortably around 1m/1.05. I recently got a 9 year old mare by lux z, and am hoping to get her out jumping hopefully up to 1.20. I also have experience with a number of young horses, I helped to break a 3 year old and then I brought him back into work and made him a suitable child’s pony. I had a 3 year old that had just been broken that I took in out of the field and put a lot of work i to her and she was sold onto a child who is now competing up to 1.10. Just recently I had a 3 year old Connemara pony that I also took in put a bit of work into and he’s now been ridden by a girl and they are getting on great.
I am just looking for a place that I can get some more experience riding all kinds of horses, Showjumping is what I do here at home but I would be open to learning about all different aspects.
I have not much competition experience, for the simple reason that I don’t own a horse box and have no way to get to shoes, however I have been to a good few I’ve jumped up to 1.10 myself but am vertical comfortable with the bigger jumps, I just have never had a chance really to jump the bigger tracks.
