I've previously worked in a riding school in Blarney for roughly 5 years, while working there my main duties included getting the horses tacked up for the lessons, exercising the horses on the yard that being either lunging or riding them, feeding, mucking out, turning the horses out and bringing them in from the fields and keeping the yard clean and tidy everyday. I'm currently studying equine science in University of Limerick and I've just finished my second year of it.

When exercising the horses in my previous place of employment I used to do flat work with them, pole work and I would jump them up to around 80cm. In college we do a lot of different exercises when we find from going back to the basics of flatwork, to doing trot and canter poles or to jumping small courses and different grids.
