I have no formal qualification about working with horses. I stared it as a hobby in my childhood, then I started working with a show jumper, who required no paper from me. I don't have my own horse, so I'm not competing either. Although I love working around horses, that's why I started being a freelance horsegroom. I am open to working in different stable environments to gain experience from professionals, who are willing to employ grooms without a colleague qualification.
I have worked as a full-time homegroom in a jumping stable in Austria. I have gained experience with stallions and also went showgrooming. I was also riding the horses in flat work. I took care of seven horses.
I have been riding and taking care about horses for 15 years, since I was a child. I like being around them and have a good connection to animals according to my previous employers. I have worked with stallions before, but only for a short time. I don't mind mocking in and out as long as it isn't for many horses a day. I do everything a homegroom normally does, including lunging and warming up/riding.
I have experience in flat work, jumping and a little bit of gallop. Haven't tried hunting before, but I'm open to new things and like to learn. I have worked with problematic and young horses before, but not with green horses.
I don't have a horse myself, so I don't compete regularly. I have competed before on small shows with horses from the trainers I had. I have tried myself out as a showgroom before on a national show jumping championship, managing four horses a day.
