Preparing horses for riding

I have experience with horses. Started out with pony club and rode lots of different horses to gain experience. I feel comfortable and have the skill set to administer basic first aid, I take direction, if a horse is hurt a protocol can be followed. Pony club gave me the skills that I carry today. I participated in club events that included dressage, eventing, flatwork, drag hunts and horsemanship.

I am capable of teaching young riders and new riders, to show them safely how to handle a horse as well as basic equitation and stable management. I also enjoy intermediate riders and love seeing how far they have come in rider development.

I enjoy starting young horses and advancing their skills. I take pride in my natural horsemanship skills to bring a youngster along or even an aged horse that needs a restart.

I feel that I am a benefit to horses as I have a calm demeanor and that reflects to the horse as well. I provide trust to all equine which is beneficial especially in a show environment which can be stressful.
