I have a Bachelor’s Degree in Equine Studies and have the BHS Stage 1 Complete Horsemanship Certification.

I have some basic practical experience with everything regarding the care of horses (only theory when it comes to breeding), but i am looking to deepen my knowledge to become someone of high standards. I have mucked out every type of surface before, I know how to follow a feeding guide, and I know how to exercise horses. I am very comfortable riding and have some experience lunging. I also have some experience in Equine First Aid and trimming/clipping, but my skills are not at the highest standards as of right now.

The little experience I have comes from volunteering when I was younger, and the work experiences I did while studying for my degree.

I have experience working in a riding school, so I am very comfortable around children, I even have the Child Wellbeing & Protection in Sport qualification. I also love animals, so I do not minding caring for other animals other than horses. I also have two summers (2 times 5 months) worth of experience in equine tourism.

Not much experience with green or problem horses but I’m comfortable with flatwork and some jumping (I have jumped max at 80cm). Have never broken a horse in, however, but I am more than willing to learn!

I am excited about learning anything, but due to previous experiences, I have a lot of self-doubts which disables me from doing my best or riding to my full potential.

I have never personally competed, and have little to no experience in the competition world.
