Duties of Current Occupation

home rider, exercise rider for horses schooling to 120, young horse and pony rider instructor french levels 1 through 7 coaching club and pony jumpers hunters (coached 8 riders to Generali Open de France 2024 ( FR pony finals)

Equine Work Experience

Have been all over the place, grew up foxhunting in Massachusetts started riding age 3 with the dream of being a polo player. Pre-teen to teenage years competed in the jumpers (ponies then horses). Qualified for and competed in two french National Finals. While mostly jumping was also involved in horseball, dressage, eventing, natural horsemanship. Spent a year as a wrangler, guide and trainer in South America, working in Ecuador then Argentina. Several thousand miles on horseback in the Andes, and experience riding and training semi-wild horses for trail and cattle work.
While getting my instructor's degree worked for a professional rider, judge and course designer. Am currently in the USA discovering the hunter-equitation circuits which are very different from Europe. Hoping to gain experience as a rider while evolving and gaining experience teaching.

Specialities

exercise of horses for commerce and boarders (flat, hunters, jumpers, eventers) group and individual lessons beginner to confirmed coaching horses and ponies, adults, young riders, children up to the 1m05 very comfortable outdoors alone and with a group experience with stallions, young horses

Type of Ride Work

Flat and jumping for hunters, jumpers, eventers. Collections, suppleness, lightness, endurance. Building topline and overall strenght. Adept of pole work and grids. Comfortable up to level 2 dressage, can ride half pass counter canter flying change pace variations in all three paces and am very familiar with shoulder in travers renvers etc. Used to riding 5-8 horses a day, including young horses and ponies.

Competition Details

Experience competing up to 1.05, experience schooling to 1.20. (have not owned a horse for upper level competition but have been schooling horses who compete up to 1.35)
