Equine Work Experience
I've been riding since I was 5. I've always been with the same riding school. I've been able to evolve over the years and ride all types of horses and ponies. During these 15 years, during the school vacations, I used to come and help clean the stables, feed the horses and put them out to pasture.
I was able to groom pro riders at young horse shows. I groomed the horses, pinioned them, bandaged them, set the bars...
I mainly competed in show jumping and eventing.
I was also in charge of the whole stable on guard days.
I'd like to come to Ireland for a gap year in my studies to practice my English while combining my passion.
Type of Ride Work
I've been competing in CSo since I was very young. I've had to ride experienced horses to learn the basics of riding. Later, I trained young ponies, held their first outdoor cso competitions and took them for their first rides. I know how to work on the flat, how to put a horse in place, shoulders in, serpentines, moving the hips, transition, bend... I'm not afraid of riding young horses; on the contrary, I find it very interesting.
Competition Details
I started competing as a child, jumping 50 centimetres, then progressed over the years to 95 centimetres. Then I returned to smaller height events to train young ponies.
I was a groom for pro riders for two summers in a row, accompanying them in young horse competitions. I've also been a groom with the amateur riders of the equestrian center I'm at for the 2019 French championships, as well as in various other competitions, including Le Mans, Landivisiau and Sain Lô.
