Duties of Current Occupation
im a 18yo full of life and motivation french girl who wants to travel, work and get back to the equestrian world. i have left it because of health issues, but now that im in university and really bored of it, i want to see the world and meet people
Equine Work Experience
i have always been in the equestrian world, even when i tried to leave it. my mom is a former amateur rider, then she became coach and now she goes on horse-drawn carriage tours, and i have always been by her side. i rode since im 3 then stopped when i turned 15, it was not a choice; so instead of riding i started to help my mom as a groom. so it was not professional but i have knowledge, and more motivation than anyone else to get back seriously in the equestrian world
Specialities
i dont have any professional experience but im really motivated to make it change, i have always grew up taking care of horses, as a volunteer groom in the stable my mom worked in, then she buys 5 draft horses and i have always been by her side to feed them, brush them, lunging them, ride them and supervise them. i know how to recognise an unusual behaviour and i know how to react to it. i havent « really » ride since a long time, but i still trust my muscle theory and my determination
Type of Ride Work
even after years without a true lesson, im still pretty good at flat work and i know how to handle any situation outside. but i have to recognise that even if i love it, i have lost a lot of level at jumping.. my horse (still at my mom’s house) was a standardbred who just get out of the tracks, i have learned him how to canter, jump, being in a good working-attitude when i was 14. Then my mom bought 4 draft horses, and i know them really well
Competition Details
I have already rode in jumping competition, i used to work ponies from private riders when i was between 9 and 12, i dont say no to doing it again, but that’s not my first want as a worker.
