I’ve been working as a stable manager for three years (2013-2016) in a private stable in Finland. My job descreption there was pretty much anything you can do at a stable. Mucking out, feeding horses, getting them in and out to fields/paddocks, riding our costumers horses when needed, being a handyman, etc. After that employment contract ended I’ve been a cashier and at the moment I’m working as a postman. But my heart says that I need to do what I love and that's working with horses.
I could say I've been riding my whole life. My mother have always been a horse girl so it probably came to me from DNA. At this time I have two own horses. One of them is retired and with the other one I’m competing at show jumping. We’ve done only up to 1,10 meter classes with great results. My horse have had health issues last two winters so it’s been a slow road to get to the bigger classes. I've rode many other horses too. We've had four horses at one time and as a kid I were in riding school. I've rode my mothers friend sale ponies as a kid and couple youngsters when I was 16-18 y/o. I'm calm rider with soft hand and great confidence. My horses have always been a little naughty so few bucks won't bother me. I love to work with youngsters, it's great to see the progress in them. Last few years I’ve had a CSI-level coach and we've done amazing progress with my riding. I believe I still got much more to learn, but from good basis it's easy to continue.
No need for accommodation if location near Amsterdam. Would be great if I could bring at least one of my own horses with me. E-mail me for new riding videos!
Show jumping, flatwork, hacking, lunging, etc.
I have jumped up to 1,10 meter classes with great results. I've done couple easy dressage tests with good results too.
